Blockchain – should I buy one? 

Blockchain is one of the emerging technologies that is creating quite the stir in the world of finance with all of the big players talking about its value, benefits and sheer cutting edge appeal.  What is the reality behind Blockchain, is it all that it's cracked up to be and isn’t it all really a replication of technology that’s been around for some time?  EY will delve into the underpinnings of Blockchain, discuss why it’s on everyones lips and if it really does have a practical application in the treasurer’s world.

Paul Bramwell – Principal, Global Treasury Services

Paul is a Principal based in New York with over 25 years of professional and client facing experience.  In his present role he is the eastern region lead for the Global Treasury Services team within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services group.  Prior to joining EY Paul worked for one of the largest treasury technology vendors in various roles, always client facing. His role involved responsibility for the P&L of the treasury business and strategy and management of the suite of treasury products. In that role he brought about a significant change of the core product suite from a technology (and functional) perspective.
